Did anyone else see that

The Bomber Liston was on RTE radio last night saying that he thought Galvin didn’t mean to slap the book out of Russell’s hands and that he was just flying his arms about in a frustrated fashion and happened to catch the notebook!!

Either way it’s hardly the end of the world…
He’s suspended apparently. About time.
Is that you Whelan, going by your user name?[/QUOTE

No my name is Dara O Se.I go around hitting people and never get sent off.

No he hasn’t. The one untouchable you have to have in all sports is the referee. Whelan has never been involved in that sort of petulant histrionics with his own team-mates and has certainly never taken on a linesman and a referee like that.

And besides all that Whelan has had far more criticism in the media for his perceived indiscipline than Galvin ever has.

Good point. Remember that farce where he was sent off in a club game a week before the All Ireland a few years back which would have meant that he missed the game and the sending off was miracously overturned. The GAA never batted an eyelid.

PS Whelan is a dirty fook as well - no getting away from that

True-I’ll give it to you on the referee side of things. I’m not defending Galvin here either as he is a petulant imp.
But not on your other point. I have witnessed Whelan doing the slyest, dirtiest of things on a football field and then thinking “God, this will be all over the papers tomorrow or highlighted on the Sunday Game tonight”-but then…nothing. He got away with it for far too many years. Was never highlighted enough. He finally got his comeuppance against Meath in the league, and I for one, hope I never see him in the jersey again.
Might be too harsh for ye but that’s my opinion on him.
thundering bollocks paul galvin carrying on yesterday when he was sent off in the clare and kerry match…he is some disgrace if pat o se had any balls he would take the captains armband off him…hope some of the bigger names in the kerry set up pull him to one side and give him what for…

i hope they throw the book at him the fucking gurrier…he’s a holy disgrace to his community…
No armband in GAA for a start.

He lost the head, he’ll be ashamed of himself, he’ll get 1 to 3 months.

Dec O Sullivan will be the bigger loss.

Well said.Kerry are the nearest thing to an ‘island race’ that we have in this country. Whelan has a dirty streak but its highlighted at every opportunity and he has walked for it.And its not a sneaky blow like a lot of Galvins/O Se’s (knees into the back etc, falling on top of a lad etc.) he does it in full view with a flalling big white Puma glove to the sron.
last year I actually was sitting beside a kerry lad at all ireland semi final match.he thought he was real cute ‘jeez I don’t fancy our chances today’ to which i replied ‘of course you don’t, that’s why you travelled all the way up here to watch it’.they think they’re so fcukin smart.

Animal Kingdom

Paul Galvin is a durty filt’ie animal. Like his club and county team mates, and their supporters and facilitators; he is bred and rared from durty filt’ie animals.

Paul Galvin is not just their leader, Paul Galvin is the pride of the Animal Kingdom. He will be talked about and revered as the durties filt’iest one of all the animals. He is of high position already as a teacher of future generations of durty filt’ie animals.

Yesterday, the pressure of five Banner points derailed their house training, and their wild trampoious’ness breeding drove the leader of their pack to return to the DNA string of their kind. Delinquent and uncontrollable tinker’ism.

Supensions are futile with this particular breed of savage. Extermination and complete annihilation. Bloody but guaranteed.

Politically, a land swap with the Windsor family could be a solution. The lands of County Kerry for Newcastle (I like the accent)

Added the Galvin incident to TFKTube there. Heard Paid S on the radio earlier defending him “he was just frustrated at himself and that’s all he meant by it” according to Pid.
