Anything where top sides don’t go full bore.
Any cup in which the clubs involved go at it fully is hence not a diddy cup.
The FA cup in which top teams either rest players, or don’t turn up at all, was rendered a diddy cup initially by Manchester United initially, who sacked it off to play in, ironically, a diddy cup.
Winning two domestic cups in the same season negates the diddines.
