He was a terrific player, pace, vision, tough, incredible balance, played it with a sense of divilment thatās anathema in the modern game and had wizardry in the left leg.
There hasnāt been a comparable citĆ©og in my lifetime with the exception of Ciaran McDonald.

I remember him live for Napoli and for Argentina in 1990 and before he got caught in 1994. The only other player Iāve seen to drive on one national team as much is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo played with a far inferior squad that either Pele or Maradona, Nani being the most talented other player that was alongside him in Euro 2008 (quarters) , 2012 (Semis) and 2016 (Champions).
The only comparable player to Maradona in recent years is the Brazilian Ronaldo and Baggio before that.
