Morning Dan.
Morning balbec hows the form…my blood is boiling at the thought of them rubby fans wearing the funny hats
I’m grand thanks. I was just worried that John Kiely staying on was giving you a sleepless night.
More fellas wearing funny hats at sports events jeez they are despicable really
Wires must have been crossed there Dan. Just for clarification, there was absolutely nothing funny about these lads
The Fields of Athenry has just broken out at the 200 gates
Genuinely sorry you’ve to go through that
It’s balanced by the 3 hen parties going to Faro being in absolutely cracking form
I like this lads chutzpah.

Is there an important rugby match on this weekend in Ireland?
Every rugby match is important .
Reminds me of a story of a lad we hung around in college. Lovely fella though definately on the spectrum. His parents died before we knew him but he had an inheritance of sorts.
Anyways one night in some nightclub there was a group of 15 of us out. Our man arrives down to the corner we were in and pulls out a drink for everyone. He had this large trenchcoat. Bottles, pints, shots, were all magically produced. We were of course grateful but at the same time we scolded him about being stupid with his money.
About 20 minutes later he pulls the same trick. We all gave out to him and asked him why he did that again? In his typical droll manner he replied as follows “Well after doing it the first time I saw all that drink on the table and thought it was not humanly possible to carry it down by myself, so I had to do it again to prove I did it”
To add one more detail to the story, our man doesn’t drink at all.
I’ve an engagement around Stephen’s Green tomorrow that I was already dreading due to the images of lawlessness widely reported in the news up here. But it now transpires neither bus nor train is running from these parts because of strike action. When travelling from Belfast direction what is a sensible plan to get to the centre of the city? Park up somewhere in Malahide and get the Dart or is there a better solution? I could drive to Dundalk and get the bus from there, but going to Dundalk is generally a last resort option.
