I’m fair going to miss telling them lads I’m an immigration officer. Instant banter

The biggest mistake you can make with these chaps is to try and banter them with “Irish charm”. Answer the question asked in one word and say no more.

Closer to 85 mins at this stage… an awful dose.

Has some elderly neighbour passed away?

Didn’t some Leitrim fella joke there was a bomb in his bag laughing away. Ended up in a jail cell. Think it was over on the US side

Cc @Tim_Riggins @tallback

Will be driving to the all blacks game…assume the RDS will be open for parking? Hardly get anywhere handier than that?

All the rugby and cricket clubs will be putting on parking. I’d avoid Angelsea Road personally.

Where would you park so wanderers? Il have young fella with me so don’t want to walk too far

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy made me repent and I wouldn’t be much of a driver.

I suppose the DART with crowds is out of the question?

You could get Elgin, Raglan Road etc as well as the ones you’ve mentioned.

If you’re entering via Bath Avenue it might be worth looking at Ringsend for overall proximity.

You’d be queuing for ages for dart is only issue

Don’t know where my tickets are for yet

Ticket location is key for your question. You’d arguably be as well off parking at the Point Village and walking over via the East Link if Bath Avenue entry. That said, they might not be as big hardasses if you’re with a child.

DART isn’t too bad actually, it moves quickly.

Q Park Grand Canal Dock is probably your best bet if looking to hedge your bets on where your seats are (similar proximate for all stadium entries) and you can pre book. 20 min walk or get yourself a Bleeper / Moby subscription and put the young lad on the handle bar.

If you want the dart, park northside. There will be much shorter queues after going northside.

There’ll also be less cars when you get back

What time will you be arriving at? If you’re early enough I’d have thought you might get an on-street space around Herbert Park etc. I think it’s free after 7pm there.

Wanderers you can prob just drive in and drop the car there. A lot do that for Leinster games with no hassle

Any of the car parks on Anglesea road are a nightmare to get out of. Herbert Park / Raglan Road direction would be a much better bet. You could chance finding somewhere on one of the streets off Donnybrook village and you’ve a much handier route back to the M50 then

Il be in Dublin for 3 or 4 o clock I’d say so happy to just dump the car somewhere will have easy access to it later

Have a look at parkpnp.com once you know where tickets are. You’ll find random folks renting out their own parking spots in various parts of the city. Can throw up some real gems sometimes
