Everything rots in our damp climate.

Do yourself a favour mate and don’t get a wooden shed. For the sake of saving a few quid, you’ll have to paint the bastarding thing every year and it’ll probably still fall apart on you within the next 15 years or so.

He’ll be patching it up with random bits of lats after a couple of years - in 5 years it will be a shed all made out of random bits of lats.

We used to have one in the home house and every summer I’d have to paint the bastarding thing. I swore when I was old enough to buy a shed it wouldn’t be wooden :joy:

I got 20 years out of a wooden shed. It had to go this year as there was a 9 degree (measured) list on the sides from west to east.

Pressure treated wood won’t rot for 40 years. No need to paint pressure treated wood.
