I really hope that’s not true, you should play your best players from the start, none of this impact sub bullshit.
He has destroyed Cork in finals before & will do it again.
He has to start if fit.

Only back in training a few weeks. Has not trained a whole pile since April. Would not be up to full match.
Start him, definitely. Take him off, bring him on, the option is there.
Hi Chrism welcome to the site. Great to have you on board.
How many games has be played on the way to the final?
Part of the Longford game. Fair point, hence why I’d start him and if he doesnt make it, take him out. Better than to bring him on and lose him then surely? Plus it would keep Cork distracted and honest.
Subway sub, submarine, subba bubba, sub
But he’d be a big boost to bring on. Overall this is all good for Cork. Of course unless he’s flying and its a dummy team. If he’s not up to it he’s a big loss to Kerry, if he comes on and gets injuried its a total disaster.
The Kerry team will be interesting. Where Kenneally and Declan O’ Splays will be very interesting.
Looks like Eoin Cadogan will be in for Ray Carey. Injuried shoulder.

Cadogans first start, that should be interesting. Bit of a snub to rest of the panel mind you.
I dont buy this boost thing, Cavanagh didnt boost Tyrone last time out when the game was gone from them. I say start with your best gunners, when the game is there for the winning.
Some guy fm Kerryman on radio 1 after 7 said that Tommy Walsh will not start either.
Ya your man Murt from the Kerryman said it will be the same starting 15 as the semi. Bold move from O’Connor.
Wouldn’t be surprised with that, i think Kerry may go for speed and using the space of CP, thinking that the bigger Cork will suffer.
I also think this could trouble Cork for a while, but i don’t think it would last for the game, and thenbringing in the big men could upset things. Interesting stuff.
As for Cadogan, whats wrong with playing him, he is part of the panel, he’s better than the other guys. they were all asked if they had a problem with him coming back and nobody said a peep.
Just seems odd because Cadogan has no Cship experience, or league experience for that matter. Its not like Tyone bringing back a former FOTY in SON.
Ouke will be delighted to see him included anyways. He has a fierce gr for him.
Cadogan played for the footballers before he played hurling, at least the League, may have come on in championship, nearly certain he played in CP in fact. This is the first year he didn’t start the year with the footballers and the hurlers.
Not a regular though. He did come on the last time out against Donegal I believe. Meh, what would I know.
Ya, but he played in 2007 as well. Your right in thinking its a risk, but its not if you saw alot of him play, he is better than most of the defenders in the starting team, and the fact he has played at the highest level in hurling.
Counihan only takes calculated risks.
he plays hurling like a footballer in the way he marks opponents anyway…really gets in his opponents face and has hands everywhere before ball ever comes near him…
Wouldn’t believe a word outta the Kerry camp until I see exactly who’s lining up before mhrn na bFhiann. They take talking out of both sides of your mouth to the extreme
