I was in the car with a lad before going to Oz and he was trying to avoid the cops as his tax was 6 months out of date. I came back from Oz a year later and was in the car with him, and he still had no tax on the car. Over he 3 years he got caught once and had to pay a 60 fine or something, if he’d payed the Tax it would have been 500 or so.
By that reasoning why the fuck should anybody keep up to date on their tax?
I can understand a week or two (and most Garda will aswell), but two months is ripping the piss and is giving the two fingers to people who are honest enough to pay their tax on time.

i think the Guard knew from seeing where i originated that all was above board ben, no need to lose the rag over it.
A few of the goms on here would id say,cops are cynical cunts out for the handy catch all the time,here in Inistioge we work together as a community to limit the successes of this age old tradition,its simple eneogh.
