He posted misleading stats on rugby a couple of years ago on drug testing by the ISC. He was called out on it but just ignored it. Really hit his credibility imo.
Still I would agree on the Munster thing- that was very deserved criticism.
It was, Munster need to bin Fitzgerald, its one clusterfuck down there after another.
No one seemed all that bothered when Del Fava was at Ulster though. Not least Ferris and Henry, both of whom were pontificating like cunts in recent weeks.
Very hard to catch lads taking HGH and the likes — I know for certain two ex Munster players doped for a year or two off the scene and came back huge and won Munster contracts. Drugs are in every sport - proving it is another thing.
I don’t think anyone ever said that rugby didn’t have dopers- it was more than Kimmage claimed it was exactly like cycling in the top down permissiveness and most importantly the facilitating/encouragement of it.
On the first one- the signings of ex dopers is a terrible look no doubt.
On the latter, he is a long way off proving anything like that and his constant conparisons to cycling are embarrassing.
