I have seen Robbie training quite a few times and know lads involved in his preperation over the years. I have seen his gym programs and seen him recently enough lift weights. Based on my knowledge of such preperation and things to lool out for in an athlete taking drugs he never has shown signs. I find it unbelievably hard to believe he took drugs and would be gutted if he did. He is also one of the most tested walkers in history and i think thee most tested irish athlete ever.
However the blood transfusion stuff and all that is a different ball game and i am not well enough educated on the subject to know how it works or the real signs of it. Thats where some endurance athletes gain performance.

No, they wouldn’t, because its a ridiculous scenario for any self respecting athlete to put themselves into.
Thats what Kimmage has written about in this instance, Heffernan choses to exist in an environment where drug use is accepted. therefor he is open to question marks.

Ya agree. The article is spot on in many ways.
Does not mean RH is a drug user though. We all know some Irish rugby players may have taken drugs back in the day. Others still played with them. Are they all guilty? Highly highly unlikely they all are. Even less likely it was systematic. But everyone got on with it.
if RH absolutely knew at the time the other lad was on drugs then yes Id agree. But if he didnt, but now does, then I think it is fair to focus on his own performance and not get dragged into a debate about someone else. Dont thnk PK is suggesting RH was aware at the time? just that he does now and is deciding not to put the boot into him
