Drugs in sport (and non sports)

He married a Roscommon woams Shure Hasn’t been to a Leitrim game since.

I think we both know what DB will do if he is able, as SBW has little left to lose if he’s not oiled.

High octane fuel

Those marginal gains are adding up.

Nutrition and equipment are much better nowadays

united will be unstoppable next season. Can you imagine the gains you’ll get with a Luke shaw?

It was kind of ridiculous watching it yesterday.

He’s obliterated a rogues gallery of dopers, and Armstrong’s nutrition and equipment were fine I’d say.
That’s the beauty of that fig leaf. There’s a grain of truth sufficient for the truly gullible to BELIEVE.

The Nutri-Bullet wasn’t around in Armstrong’s time. It alone probably shaves at least three and a half minutes off an ascent of a mountain like Plateau De Beille.

The cadence revolution pioneered by Brailsford and Team Sky has also been refined. You’d shave another two minutes off with the right cadence.

Syrup of fig leaves is all the rage now. Has a remarkable medium-quick energy release mechanism you can’t get with anything else. 10 minutes alone gained there.

That’s a combined 15 and a half minutes which means had Pogacar been riding at the same cadence as Pantani without the diet improvements he’d have clocked 55:28.

Defo clean.

Pogacar is obviously doped to the gills but he is already an all time great and almost single handedly putting cycling back in the mainstream public eye. He is so entertaining and a great lad off the bike. Greatest all round cyclist in decades and will end up with the likes of Kelly when all is said and done.

It is actually satisfying to watch him dismantle Vingegaard who is the most obvious hyper responder to whatever protocol is going on since Chris Froome.

Ah yes the good aul high cadence revolution sponsored by motors.

David Walsh is covering the Tour for the Times. Not a peep out of him.

David fought his war. He hasn’t the stomach for it anymore.

He lost all credibility when he defended Team Sky only for them to be as rotten as them all.

The Walsh 180 was most unusual.

It’s ruined Kimmages life so I can see why Walsh would pack it in but it still doesn’t make sense the way he just took the soup almost immediately.

Twas. “Not normal” as they used to say.

He lost plenty when he defended Tom Humphries as well.
