Mick the Muldoon should have stayed home milking the cows and thinning turnips so instead of getting notions of working in the city and riding nurses and beanguards after Coppers.
As I’ve said many times to my pal, Danker, the only people not making a living out of the GGA are the players.
Dublin lads love the GAA. But not to marry.
3 sessions includes a game at the weekend.
Any club serious about winning anything at Senior or intermediate level will have lads doing something another day or two a week.
With split season it’s actually quiet a nice balance imho although some lads bemoan not being able to go to the Galway races.
As said, inter county is a different ball game as time is spent before and after training plus travel kills a lot of the fun. Most of them enjoy being in a high performance environment so it’s not all bad.
Games gone.
a fish can’t see the water it is in… luckily these Dublin lads have chosen lives that takes them out of the bowl …
You’ll be content getting nowhere so.
I’ve your card marked now
Amazing that in this, the most important of weeks for The Dubs, that they sent all the lads out to Cùl camps. Rock was in Syls. Bugler was out in Naomh Mearnòg. Told Juhy junior he’d look out for him behind the goal on sunday.
At least they weren’t pricking around The Manor.
My sources recently told me the Dublin players ‘took control of the situation’ after the league.
They weren’t going to be ‘embarrassed’ any longer. Organised their own programmes and private training….
Ah the magic Chinese whispers.
PS Con and jamesie both good chances for Sunday.
Dessie is in charge of putting out the cones now. Con is running the show
heard Con very doubtful meself
if he is fit and on form , Dublin win is my assessment of it
Con is flying it in training
Yerra
Heard Con is gone for the season … hairline fracture
Sunday is the official changing of the guard … forget about Mayo last year , Kerry to take over form dubs for a few years …
my info is no chance for sunday, hairline fracture bone in foot
we ll see come sunday!
if kerry cannot beat a Conless Dublin, jez it is back to the drawing board
Dubs are pedestrian without him …
