Dublin V Cork All Ireland Hurling SmeiFinal

Fair fucking play to both teams. What a fucking game.

The ref stopped us getting a true reflection of the game with sending off. RD was a far bigger loss than Rushe.

But fair play to Cork, what a win. Playing magnificently for 45-50 mins an hanging in there when playing poorly.

I’m in tears.

christ… jesus

Better team lost. Come on Clare / Limerick

Cork dont fear Dublin

Come on ta fuck Clare (and/or Limerick)

Limerick will never best cork twice , we know where the smart money is

Cork massive favourites now. Roll on next week.

In fairness, they had/have the better hurlers. Dubling almost bridged the gap in workrate and determintation.

Cork?

Great game fair result, if anybody was going to be sent off then it was always going to O’Dwyer. Dublin paly on the edge and lived a charmed life so far. This was the boyo that stabbed a Wexford hurler with a broken hurl, he has had it coming for a long time.

Daly must be fucking gutted after that, he got a huge performance out of his team today and I honestly think they would’ve won but for the sending off. Hard to know if they will ever play that well again but in fairness, they’re largely a young team.

Munster hurling… can’t bate it.

Sending off was wrong and with sending off cork would never have won that game. Thought the ref gave a few marginal calls against Dublin too. Limerick will beat cork again in the final.

The ten minutes up to the sending off the momentum had gone Dublin’s way and even after it they gave Cork pucks of it up to the goal. Shame, but maybe it was a worthy second yellow will have to see it again (and the first yellow)

Sean Og will be seething

What if it’s Clare? Fancy Clare to give it back to them

You can’t blame the sending off as rushe should have gone

Limerick will win two Munster championships in the one year.

Hurling the big winner today… fuck Kilkenny, long may they be gone.

Ryan O’Dwyer didn’t do that against Wexford. It was a different player. Silly for him to go in for another frontal charge when already on a yellow card, even though the first incident wasn’t too forceful and a free without a card would have sufficed. But, as I said, once he was already booked, he didn’t need to go in for a similar type challenge. The second one was more aggressive and it almost seemed like he realised it just as he was doing it but it was too late.

Great game. Not a fan of Dublin hurling but feel fairly sorry for them there. Well done Cork though.
