Ive the yearly pass so its a yes from me if you have kids. Been there a few times this summer.
Good for kids as there are a few playgrounds.
The tiger,rhino are pretty impressive as is the hippo
Not having a polar bear or kangaroos is poor form
one gripe, there tends to be working class people there and you have to mix with them which is never a good thing
adults going without kids would be beyond odd though

It’s a good place for a date methinks. The cafes are all shit though so I’d advise hiding your inner roaster (no hang sangidjes in tinfoil) and take her somewhere decent for food after.

Maybe rent a couple of Dublin Bikes and cycle around Phoenix Park together too. Feel the wind blow through your hair. Cycle side by side and hold hands as you freewheel down a hill.

I’m watching a feature on the new baby polar bear in Munich zoo here on good morning. It’s after awakening something deep inside me. It’s savage cruel to keep an animal locked up like that all their lives. It’s like a prison for animals.
