Celtic need more options.all looks a bit stale… Rangers looking very solid… No goals conceded… Good few attacking options now… Today Aribo, morales missing and hagi only on for a few minutes…
I think two up front is the way Celtic will go and it makes sense. It’s too easy to mark Edouard when he’s up front on his own, especially when he’s not really a threat in the air and wants to drop off a bit. If he’s doing that with another striker beside him he’ll be more effective.
That being said, he’s been generally superb for the last year so it’s not like it needs a drastic change. Just think against teams sitting in so deep against us, it makes sense to go with a striker beside Edouard.
I think a left wing back adds an awful lot to that Celtic team if we can get one. I think we lack a creative guy sometimes. Rogic and Christie have been playing at 10 but both shoot an awful lot. Maybe again the solution is Edouard dropping a bit behind another striker.
I don’t think the huns are better than last season. Morelos will be sold or will play in a sulk. Hagi is very hit and miss.

Morales didn’t make the squad
I mentioned before that I don’t know why he’s discarded the 3-5-2. Ntcham was playing well in it and, while Griffiths hasn’t been available to partner Edouard, I thought he could have shown some faith in Klimala even before Ajeti joined. Christie has gone off the boil completely and he’s a bit headless. I know he had the shot for the goal alright but I felt he was disappointing otherwise. The 4-2-3-1 looks fairly predictable and stale.
Andrew Dallas is some cheat. That baldy lad at the back for them getting away with foul after foul, some snide and dirty ones like that rake down Edouard’s achilles. It’s one of the nuanced ways jocko hun refs show their bias, let teams kick the shit out of Celtic players for 80/85 minutes and then give 2 or 3 very late yellows so it statistically looks like an even spread of cards.
He also gave frees out at four (4) Celtic attacking set pieces for “jostling in the box”. Yeah, the attacking side doing the fouling all the time. Whistle blown for a free out as soon as the ball leaves the taker’s foot. 
Those free kicks from corners were ridiculous.
Yeah I guess it was down to a lack of cover maybe and Klimala didn’t seem strong enough last season. And maybe not suited to playing against deep defences. But Lennon does seem to prefer the 3-5-2. Was interesting that Ajer came on and not Elhamed to play in the back 3. Ajer is possibly better but it suggests he’s not being frozen out. Maybe Bitton is just there for his passing.
Smart goal from Ajeti anyway and a hugely important one to get. Think Klimala looks a really good option to bring on when we’re winning. He’s fast and strong now and will do well against teams that are pushing up.

3-5-2 or a 4-3-1-2 is the way to go
We are not getting anything from the wide players so we need to go two up front.
Disappointed in Brown and McGregor, time for Soro to get a run too.

I certainly think we’ll go more with 3-5-2 and we may even sign another striker (as opposed to a winger) to mean we can stick with it if Griffiths isn’t going to be around. At the moment it’s probably too reliant on having both Edouard and Ajeti fit.
We’ve had two fit wingers so far and 2-3 for strikers and we’ve still only started with one up front. We even put Christie out on the wing today rather than to two up top with two strikers left on the bench.
I think a right winger is needed. We really should be making enquiries into Roberts, he’d be ideal if we could get him for under £5m.
Just think previously in matches where rangers didn’t score for a while you’d be confident that there would be some mistake at the back and they’d go behind . Doesn’t seem to be happening so far this season. . Maybe it’s because there’s no crowd they don’t feel as much pressure
Morelos is a problem for Sevco.
They tried to play hardball for an unsettled, volatile striker and already have his replacements signed up. Their suitor has now signed someone else so they are now stuck with an unhappy striker who wants to leave and no buyer in place and they need to sell.
No doubt they will agree another “undisclosed” fee for him as they try and cash in.
