Dundee Utd vs. Celtic

Wanyama seems to have pushed into midfield with Lustig moving inside and Matthews back to right back.

Wanyama seems to be gone into midfield with Lustig gone to centre back.

Euan Norris would have given itā€¦if it was the other way around.

Hun with a whistle!

No penalty given for a clear strike of the hand but player had his back turned. Iā€™m as concerned by the failure to book Dixon for tugging back McGeouch when he had beaten him.

Good interchange between Hooper and Commons and narrowly wide from Hooper.

Great chance for Hooper but drags it wide.

Commons really lively now and the front three are looking dangerous finally.

Finally Brines gets his card out for a Dundee Utd player.

Fuck off Brines you orange prick.

Matthews was clearly fouled there and referee gives advantage to United. FFS

McGeouch has done well since coming on.

Seen it all now, how is that a free out?

Watt has been very good.

Never bothered booking Dixon for that assault on McGeouch either just before it.

Didnā€™t deserve to win that due to the abject first half display.

Performances of McGeouch and particularly Watt were encouraging. Reasonably happy with Lustigā€™s display at right back too, looks far more assured there.

Otherwise we looked like a team who had won the league and had nothing to prove. Ledley, Hooper and Commons only played in patches, defenders werenā€™t overly interested in defending.

Oh well, pretty tepid display, decent performances from Matthews, Watt, Commons, Brown and McGeouch but apart from that everyone else seemed to be under par. I think weā€™ve been in holiday mode since the derby last weekend.

Brines looked disappointed with the result:

Iā€™ve always absolutely despised Ian Brines.

That Peter Houston chap is a right cunt. Looking forward to seeing how Tony Watt progresses over the next year. He hasnā€™t looked overawed at all.

The divine quiff has the attributes (both physical and football intelligence) to become the best striker to come through the ranks for a long time. I was very impressed with his ability to roll defenders and smart movement.

He was excellent alright. Showed well down the line for out balls, wasnā€™t afraid to take on the defenders but also just laid it off simply and kept possession other times. And looked a force in the air, unlucky with that one he nodded back for Wanyama from just over the line.
