This was an easy enough cycle around Limerick, do those stats mean anything?
You’ve 160m of elevation gain more than I have in a spin of similar distance
Normally I’d be a 10:9 man, so if I did 100km, I’d like at least 900m gain (doesn’t always happen). At the moment I’m a 10:less than 1 man
What about power? I see that I’ve got a bigger number there yet you’ve gone much faster?
How do measure power output with the garmin watch. Do you need a device of some sort?
Decent enough. You’re fit though.
Think that’s estimated. I’m not running a power meter @tassotti
I’ve got a cadence and speed sensor linked to the Garmin.
Nice gentle spin today
Jeez that’s mental it’s so flat.
How are all of you keeping within 2k
If you don’t live in the middle of a giant swamp it’s not that difficult at all
Doesn’t apply here. Just need to cover your snout with a rag.
Hopefully won’t apply here soon
Mean spirited and angry response
It’s crazy. If I lived the other side of town I’d get a bit of elevation
@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy doing loop de loop de loop de going loopy
Angry, no.
Mean spirited, possibly
Just came to me.
Seriously, I can do 40k while very rarely cycling on the same road twice, 2k in every direction is a decent distance,
the 116 metres climbed was probably coming back up O’Connell Avenue
Managing, public gym in park, nice walk in same
Our standard route is about 35 miles with 1200m of climbing. Add about 20 miles on to get there and back.
We go about further in nice weather usually, and less when it’s cold and wet or icy.
I much prefer the hills like you do.
