I wish
Have to get ready for tonight’s jollies
I’ve a schoolroom that’s absolutely covered in murals of every colour and description on Gods planet
An ounce of Semtex would be an easier option to sort it,
Kids who painted these were angry and troubled
Lots of black/ Red

You’ve good taste
I’m a creature of habit
C103 Ken Tobin
Always plays a bit of Queen
Buds bro
Plays soft enough music thankfully

A flamethrower might do the trick. I remember an aunt of mine, instead of removing wallpaper, would very regularly put a new pattern over the old one. I’d say it was around 20 sheets deep by the time she moved into a care home.

This beautiful man
Dying of cancer
Ex Republican prisoner
Director of the Cork life centre
Is stepping down from his role today,
We were in provisional SF 44 plus years ago,
Asked me to shoulder his coffin last Friday,
It’s a privilege but a sad one,
I respect my friend more than anyone on Gids earth

God love him. May his suffering be minimal. I used to live with a longtime friend in Dublin who was RSF’s prisoner liaison officer at the time. The flat was like a fuckin’ bodhran shop.

:clap::clap::ireland:Dons still republican
But old style 32 county
like myself
He walked away aswell
Has limited tolerance of the current Shinners
But he’s a man of principle
Put his own ideas behind him to help the kids who didn’t fit into mainstream school and society
As he says himself,
Kids just want love
Someone to back them
Help them along the route

Coincidentally the cnet guy who installed my eir () broadband yesterday
Over a cup of tea we found out we knew mutual friends etc
He’s on serious bobs atm
Contractor with cnet-
He was fucked until Don and the life centre stepped in to help him with his addiction/ low self esteem problems which stopped him getting educated,
He said himself he was in a bad way till the lads got hold of him
Never looked back,
In a twist he actually ended up working up there fir a while :ok_hand:

That’s brilliant. Aye, there’s a lot of lads needing what their parents weren’t fit to give them. It’s great that there are people willing to devote their lives or careers to helping another man up. A life of service might be the key to contentment. On a different subject, I remember chatting to a Dub who lost a son and was lost in a never-ending ocean of grief and Dzogchen Beara in Cork was recommended to him. He reckoned it saved his skin and does yearly visits since. It sounds like an interesting place.

Never heard of it
But obviously once again no government bodies such as these and Pieta etc are filling the gap where the bloody government should

Exactly. Therapy is only financially justifiable for the high earners. The country is a mess.

Became a Buddhist
Went from smoking hash
Boozing

To a no drink no smoking man
