I’ve had to get up and work Indian Standard time to coax a clients dev team through a difficult code promotion.
Fair play mate, someone has to do it
Is it something like four and a half hours that they are ahead of us?
I’d say 50 years behind the useless cunts.
Nice to get a good long stretch in to warm up before the parkrun. Mugs falling out of bed ten minutes before and shredding their tight hamstring in the first k.
I like to have two cups of strong coffee at half six of a Saturday morning. Clears me right out it does before the run
+1. If I can go sub 28 minutes then I’ll get into the 10am Rainbow Phil show with the young lad.
Would you treat yourself to a 99 or a nice bun if you cracked a sub 25? It is savage important to have a reward for hard work
I’ll see how I get on. There’s a market down there on Saturdays so I could get anything as a reward for myself from a fish finger sandwich to a bunch of flowers.
An egg sandwich from Mad Yolks will provide you with all the protein refuel you need.
What is your fuelling strategy for Parkrun mate?
I’m on two weeks of IF so nothing but strong double espresso beforehand. The last k in fasted state really lets me open my legs and express myself. A glass of strawberry protein milk straight after, a shower and some chorizo, poached eggs, maybe avocado and brown soda bread sorts me right out so it does.
You’d want to have a roll of kitten soft to go with that
Just up now after my second shift of 4 hour sleep.
Will head out for a run and come back to bring the young lad hurling.
A sunny 25 degree day of productivity mental clarity lies ahead. What a time to be alive.
So liberating.
Just getting the lawn cut there, hopefully get a bit of the spring stuff cut and baled later as well. Not much on the lawn and a mild dew down. I love the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning.
making the right decisions on a Saturday, what more could a man want?
Had replied a few days ago but the post got lost in the server update.
Met him at a wedding last weekend. A gentleman to his fingertips.
He used to work with my brother. Met him a few times. A gent.
