Eddie Rocketts or Abrakebra

Might go for a smokestack at the weekend

Unrale

It’s really put it in me head. When I opened the thread I feared it meant Eddie’s was closing. Made me realise how we need to appreciate the finer things in life when we have the chance. You never know when your last smokestack might be.

That orange cheese should be classified a class B drug at the very least by the state

That PY fast food stall on Moore st looked manky when I passed it. All sorts of raw meat and fish sitting on a plastic counter top while some unvetted non Irish of military age cooked it up on the bbq. If I recall steak and chips was ten quid :grinning:

A lot of our overseas colleagues stay in The Gibson when they’re visiting the Dublin office & they often eat in that Point Village Eddie Rocketts when they arrive back to the hotel base following a feed of porter on a Wednesday or Thursday night. This alarming & devastating news could hasten the windup & closure of the company.

That Republic of Grill in Limerick would be a very popular food truck. The hipster set will be devastated

Very poor showing from parnell st there there. You’re nearly guaranteed at least one every time…

De public be ill you mean…

It says it had no water supply, sure no food truck does?

Do they mean they literally had no water in the tank to wash their hands?

That’s a bit manky to be fair

Dublin 1 still featuring heavy, the food safety crowd must have their office there.

The Exchange, George’s Dock, International Financial Services Centre, Dublin, D01 P2V6

By God then they do.

The lads go for lunch on a Friday and close the place down so they don’t have to pay the bill.

Tis like that episode with Pheobes boyfriend the food safety inspector.

I’m convinced the Moore mall has an infestation of rats

I’ve never really thought about that before but what do food trucks normally do?

They’ve a tank of water in the truck as far as I know.

I’d imagine Wickham way must have some sort of shared connection for them, but possibly not

As a wise man once said.

There’s always rats Nidge

This joint in the Moore St mall is still open. I used to get hankerings the odd time for Sarajevo-style cevapi, and that was the only place in Dublin that seemed to serve it. A good pre-pints lining of the stomach for any sweaty, fat and hairy mullah infecting the still cultural waters of the capital in the future.

It’s grim. I wouldn’t set foot in the place and I’d chance most things.

A lad I used to work with was from Italian extraction and his family were in the food game.

He swore by a Chinese restaurant on Moore Street and brought us there on occasions for lunch. A cracking spot.
