That group of defenders will be England’s undoing.

Drinkwater was poor in the warm up games apparently

Who will likely start at the back for England?
Rose — Cahill — Smalling — Walker?

:joy:

england will do ok with that back 4
People are tipping up France but if you want to see a horror show check out Adil Rami and Koscielny last night in the 3-2 win over Cameroon,
i see Belgium lost a few more defenders on top of Kompany, Italy are playing Darmian, Germany have Mats Hummels… i dosent look so bad when put in perspective

There’s a dirth of decent centre halves around the world at the moment.

Excellent, the fall for this Rashford pretender will be quicker and bigger at this rate.

Aaron Cresswell is a far superior left back to both Rose and Bertrand

It’s full backs Belgium are short on. I presume with the injuries they’ll probably play Verthongen and Alderweireld in the middle now

Smalling scores.

Another win on the cards. Looking like another cleansheet. Not one player over 30 in their squad. They have Kane. They have Vardy. They have Hart. They have Stones.

This could the one.

Not one player under 30??

Shhhhhhhhh

They were absolutely terrible tonight playing against ten men and Portugal didn’t have Ronaldo. They might do ok if Hodgson has the balls to drop Rooney

Clyne will start

When is the starting team getting announced? What a fillip it would be to get a European Championship campaign off to a winning start in the opening game for the first time.

Hart
Walker cahill smalling rose
Dier
Milner ali rooney
Lalanna
Kane

No Vardy, No party.

Looks like Woy will have to get a dose of chat shit, get banged!

And on the Queen’s birthday as well.

Terrific to see Roy invest in youth and the so much of the exciting young talent coming through in the English game. England with an average age of just over 25, one of the youngest squads in the tournament. Compare that to the staleness of Eire, going with so so many of the failures of Poland 2012. According to the Sunday Times with an average age of 29 years 302 days, Eire the oldest squad in the tournament.

We will have a go this time geoff. I expect us to beat the sweedes and get a point from one of the other 2 games. How ye think your boys will get on and whats your starting 11?
