England carry the hopes and dreams of all four home nations, and of our domestic game. While the smiley is not technically appropriate, in spirit it is completely appropriate.
England are being very sensible this time. On 5 live the other night the consensus of the pundits was that England would go no further than the Quarter finals of the WC. The long English season and the weather conditions in Brazil will make it difficult. Also Woy will have to expewiment with 433 or 451 in the fwiendly games.
Media hype aside, England are a very consistent WC team, they will make the knockout stages before putting in a battling performance and go out on penalties.
It’s only October, bud-by May they will be heavy favourites and Hodgson will have been replaced by El Tel after being caught up in a Daily Mail nun phonesex sting.

It would be an incredible fairytale story, and I could see him inspiring the team from the bench in the same way Terry Butcher did in 1990.[/quote]
It would be foolish not to consider a man who has such experience playing in a foreign country. Could very well open the door for Heskey too.
