Well, it is 32 degrees celsius in Galway.
Apparently great players who were past their peak when you were old enough to watch them.
Case in point: Peter Shilton.
Cunt could barely move in World Cup 86 and 90, and Euro 88.
He was also beaten by a deflected free kick in the semi-final in 1990 that looped up and over him and he was too old and decrepit to take a few quick steps back and leap up to tip it over. …and the incident with the penalty 1.22, he fumbled it as it rolled in to his arms. Not sure how many caps he had but I don’t think he ever saved a penalty for England.

That’s great stuff. Baggio offside for the 1st goal but should have been a penalty before that. My memory was that Schillaci was a finisher who hit a purple patch at the perfect time but 2 great nutmegs there. A hilarious attempt at a tackle from Parker as well, just loads going on in that clip.
