Was he not asked about it? He could have left out the bitterness bit but I think there obviously is a bit of bitterness in it from McClean. He overly complimented McClean if anything, saying he had a great career and that he’s a great guy

I wish we could self destruct by qualifying for every major tournament and getting to semis and finals.
I think I’m right in saying England are through now, regardless of what happens tonight. They can’t finish fourth and even if they only finish third, they’re ahead of Croatia and Hungary

Not really comparable. They haven’t won a major tournament in 56 years. That’s like us not making the knock out stages for 56 years
