Ah smashing. Fair fucks to the Fenian Welshman.

Tevez has won back the support of the red half of Manchester today. http://www.thefreekick.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/apploud.gif http://www.thefreekick.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/apploud.gif

United Legend Danny Pugh puts Stoke 1-0 up. Delap cant be stopped. http://www.thefreekick.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

For the love of God, why don’t they call him up to the Ireland squad?

Arsenal level with Bendtar and seem to be in control of the match now.

Sky at the nannying nonsense again…

Ramsey gone for a year, I suppose. Tough luck on the kid.

Show us the tackle!

They won’t Sid…
But his leg was hanging. So it’s a compound break by the looks of it.

We went back to have a look. But all we can see is it at full speed.
Shawcross swung to volley it caught Ramsey on the shin.
Shin buckles.

At full speed it’s hard to say it was a red card.
Is it a default red card if you break a guy’s leg?
Is there no such thing as a footballing accident anymore?

I dunno, they may show replays which you can say for sure but from what I saw hard to give a red card if you just take in to account the event and not the result.

Had it taped as we need it in work. Looks horrific. Its a bad break for the lad.

Stoke fans are scum, singing “you’re f*cked and you know you are” and “there’s only one Ryan Shawcross”.

Haven’t seen the challenge again but his leg has hanging in the air, you’d worry for the boy’s career after it, he might recover phyically but probably never be the same again mentally, Eduardo being a prime example of this also.

Monumental result though.

Shawcross added to the England squad sez the Guardian

that was probably arsenal’s toughest fixture between now and end of season…they have a great run in…they’ve city to come to the emirates but every other on team they have left to play are very beatable…

Saw this in the boozer last night, it appeared that Ramsay’s leg had buckled before Shawcross came in and lashed out of it.

Ramsey will take massive encouragement from Alan McCrabbe’s amazing recovery from a career threatening injury to turn out for the dubs just one week later

In fairness to McCrabbe he got an awful belt. Ramsey just tried to squirm out of a fair challenge.

Wigan are 1-0 up on Liverpool tonight. I’m not watching it but a few other fora have it that James McCarthy’s having a great game. I’m happy with this now I’m following the Ireland team again.

Liverpool lose 1-0. They really look to be struggling for fourth now. Man City a point ahead with two games in hand. Villa three points back but with three games in hand. Spurs in fourth at the moment a point ahead of Liverpool but with a game in hand. Not looking good for Rafa and co.

Christ, didn’t realise it was that bad. They’re in big trouble now alright.

Another good performance from young McCarthy tonight, he seems to be progressing well after a slow start. Looks to be a good prospect for the future of Irish football.

Good decision on his behalf to go to Wigan, playing decent opposition and has got into the team quickly. Wouldn’t have happened if he had moved to a higher profile club.
