What misses…
Tá sé ag teacht…
What a fucking goal to make it 6-6!
Motherwell missed a penalty 5 minutes ago and then deep into injury time Jutkiewicz got on the end of a long ball and rifled home a screamer to level it. After being 6-2 down and loads of fans leaving that was some comeback.
How are Tottenham not at least four nil up here?
How have Spurs not wrapped this up…
Totally set up for city to nick it one nil…
You could never bet on Crouch to score - he has always been the same.
Not nearly clinical enough.
Ledley King is a top defender, always has been.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
To say that was coming is an understatement…

I’ll take that bet.
Crouchies having his nachos.
Jesus if he missed that he could forget it.
Man City are pretty shite in fairness.

3 or 4 times this half he has shown some magical feet…
That looks to be that now.
Not having that, it took a bit of reaction. I wouldn’t be overly critical of the header before either. He kept it down. Should have scored but they go in more often than not. Fortuné hit a similar header for Celtic last night and was laudded. When you meet a header full-on you don’t get that much say in directing it. He couldn’t glance it to the corner. Over or wide and you’d shoot him.
I agree, but he’s not clinical enough for me.
It was straight at the keeper. He arrived at it unchallenged and could have picked his spot.
I like Crouch, technically very good, and can be excellent at times, but one on one with the keeper you are not sure if he will score or not.
Agreed… When on form he can be brilliant… not consistent enough. I still think it was a mistake on Benitez’ part in letting him go.
I concur that he’s not an out and out goalscorer but when you look at unmissable chances in games that are missed, invariably they’re headers. Bojan against Inter a few weeks ago, that one from Crouch. They’re deemed sitters but they take scoring. Put that chance in the Phoenix Park on a Sunday (at normal height) and 80% of amateur lads will miss it. A top striker should score obviously but I think people generally rate headed chances as being easier than they are. It’s not that easy to direct the ball, it’s more about heading it into an area.
City they bottle it when it counts.
