Epl 2011/2012

No Sagna, no Vermaelen. This could get very ugly.

:frowning:

Arsenal will win nothing with Chamakh rotting on the bench…

As weak an Arsenal team as I’ve seen. Years of no investment in the team coming home to roost.

Jenkinson hopelessly out of his depth.

Think England would have a fine forward line if they partnered Young, Rooney and Walcott. All three shaping up for big seasons

Arsenal doing a Waterford here.

Angela Lansbury on now for the Gunners.

I still think Arsenal can put out a decent first XI, but there is a severe shallowness to the squad and as always they struggle with injuries and suspensions. Not much to read into this for United really. Slightly worrying in fact that we were under the cosh for the first 10 mins or so of the second half at 3-1. The quick passing and movement in the final third has been great to watch though. Young looks a superb addition anyway, that’s for sure.

8.2.   City down to 2nd.

Delighted to see Ashley Young settling in so well.

Arsenal have really hit rock bottom and Wenger can only blame himself.

Martin O’Neill.

Arsenal supporters can console themselves with the fact the club’s finances are in rude health. They can point to the impressive glossy annual report while rival teams collect medals. I know how they feel.

Young has indeed settled in seemlessly and looks a very good signing.

What will Wenger do next i wonder. They really are a sorry state.

Arsenal’s league form since the Carling Cup Final:

DDDWDDWDDLWLLDDLL

He was fantastic today. He was clearly man of the match. He always looked a threat whenever he got on the ball. Hes looking like a bargin at this stage.

Honestly wasn’t surprised by that defeat, perhaps a bit surprised that Arsenal got two goals, but not by United’s winning margin.

Hard to know where Arsenal go from here, I see a sustained period of mediocrity ahead for them. It’s gonna take more than a few signings to stop the rot.

Commiserations pal. I’d 8-2 to be an Arsenal fan tonight.

On a side note, the epl fantasy league hasn’t been updated yet. They are woeful slow at going about their business.

They must be filthy with money though? I can’t understand it. They just refuse to spend money to beef up the squad. Looks like they’re going to miss out on Champions League football next season, even at this early stage…
