Ah ex-Newcastle, innit. Geordie morons.
More woe for Arsenal and Wenger with the news that Wilshire will be out for the next 2-3 months.
Big loss for Arsenal. Is the epl on a break now for a while?
Yeah, Back again in early November.
This email has been leaked even though it was sent around 1 year ago. Manchester City have announced theyâre launching an investigation into it. From Eurosport:

Paper Round: Cancer jibe sent to starâs mum
Manchester Cityâs top executive hit the back pages on Monday over an email sent from his email account to City star Nedum Onuohaâs mother ridiculing her cancer.
The Sun reports that Dr Anthonia Onuoha, who is the defenderâs agent as well as his mum, received an email from the account of City chief executive Garry Cook joking about her severe cancer.
Cook has strenuously denied sending the email, which appeared to be intended for Brian Marwood but was instead sent to Dr Onuoha. Cook has claimed that he was on holiday in South Africa at the time the message was sent, and that it came from a member of staff at the club who hacked his account as a practical joke. An internal investigation is under way.
The playerâs motherâs had originally emailed Marwood, with Cook copied in, about a contractual dispute between her son and the club, reading at one point: âMy body might be ravaged by cancer and ongoing chemotherapy but, thankfully, my intellectual and mental capacities remain fully functional. I fail to see where any of the explanations you have offered justified the exclusion of any aspects of Nedumâs Manchester Cityâs contracted terms and conditions.â
The reply to Dr Onuoha, which came from Cookâs email address, started off greeting Marwood, and read: âBrian, Ravaged with it!!.. I donât know how you sleep at night. You used to be such a nice man when I worked with you at Nike. Gâ
Regardless of who wrote the message the playerâs mother was not very happy, and she has written to the FA demanding action.
âWhen I opened up my e-mails and saw the message, it was the worst day of my life, even worse than being diagnosed with cancer,â she told The Sun. âI couldnât understand how anybody could behave like that. I just cried and cried for hours.â
Opening the email was worse than being diagnosed with cancer!
I donât know which is more lame, that or Cookâs pathetic hacking story.
Steed Malbranqueâs representatives have dismissed reports the former Fulham, Tottenham and Sunderland midfielder has retired from football to care for an ill family member.
Reports emerging from France over the weekend, and repeated in a number of British publications, claimed that the 31-year-old, who joined French outfit St Etienne this summer, had decided to quit as his young son was suffering from cancer.
But in a statement released to Press Association Sport by solicitors working on the instruction of Malbranqueâs agent, Sebastien Boisseau, it is made clear that the Frenchman does not have a son and that no member of his immediate family is in ill health. âSteed has read with concern the recent stories currently circulating about him and his family,â read the statement which as issued by London-based solicitors Thomas Cooper.
"He would like to reassure all of his friends in England and throughout world football that these stories are wholly without foundation.
"Steed does not have a son and his immediate family are all in good health. Steed does not know the origin of these stories but would like to stress that they are without merit.
âHe trusts that they will now cease immediately.â
Malbranqueâs switch to St Etienne last month ended a 10-year stay in English football, during which time he made a total of 336 Premier League appearances.
After impressing at Lyon following his debut for the club in 1998, Malbranque secured a move to Fulham in 2001 and went on to make over 200 appearances for the west London club.
Malbranque transferred to Tottenham in the summer of 2006, going on to make over 60 appearances, before joining Sunderland in 2008.
Christ thatâs weird. Loads of journalists were tweeting about him and how he was a lovely guy. Very odd that came from nowhere.
What was even more bizarre was his team mates retweeting it. I mean youâd know if a team mate had a young boy surely? I dunno.
Anyway, hereâs Mike Ashley topless in a Karaoke Bar
Vermaelen now out for two months.

The Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook has resigned his position at the club in the wake of allegations he sent an email to Nedum Onuohaâs mother, Dr Anthonia Onuoha, who has cancer, ridiculing her illness. Cook initially denied sending the email, which was supposed to be going to Cityâs director of football, Brian Marwood, and claimed his email account had been hacked into. He also claimed the culprit had been dealt with.
just had a quick look at the prices for the weekend games in the EPL. I normally am a bit hesitant after international breaks but def think
a few stand out
arsenal -1 v swansea - evs
fair enough arsenal have had a shocking start to the season but this has the signs of a perfect pick me up against a side that like to play football but are struggling with the step up to the EPL.
man utd -1 v bolton - evs
united are scoring for fun at the moment and a bolton defence where zat knight and paul robinson get games should be there for the taking. bolton are likely to score themselves but hernandez is back fit and its the kind of game he could score a couple. kind of game fergie may rest a few which is a little worry.
lay everton @ evs v aston villa
experience has taught me to stay away for punting on games involving the villa but I cant help feeling we are ridiculously overpriced at 3/1 today. Not sure how fit Given and Dunne will be after their international exertions but Collins and Hutton surprisingly cant make their respective international sides so should be fine. If Ireland or even Bannan were playing instead of Heskey as attacking midfielder Id be confident of the 3 points but seeing as McLeish is unlikely to do that laying Everton is the better call.
Might also have a nibble at Liverpool -1 at Stoke (7/2). The likes of Suarez will do well I feel against a immobile defence like Stoke and should be goals there for them. That Jose Enrique looks a cracking signing at left back.
Wolves2/1 at home to spurs looks like value based on respective starts to season
Why didnât cook just pay off the family I wonder!!!
Given that the mother is a doctor and the son a professional footballer I doubt the arse is falling out of their trousers and could be bought off all that easy
Iâve layed Man Utd to win at 4/9 todayâŚ
Typical of Carters rugby mindset that he thinks the White man can just throw a few shillings at the darkie and everything will be ok.
There are some truly odious individuals involved in English soccer these days.
Asamoah Gyan has moved to Al Ain on loan.
Bit of a strange one, thought he had done relatively well at Sunderland and surprised to see them let him go, considering they donât have much up front.
