Epl 2012/13

Evra with the second. Fully deserved.

Wilshere sent off, two yellows. Harsh enough decision.

Wasn’t there a poster on here in September tipping Arsenal to win the league?

Ah he was lucky enough to avoid the second yellow five minutes previously. Fair enough decision I thought.

Arsenal have been poor since the last international break. Were dreadful against Norwich, needed a late winner at home to QPR last week and now this.

Nice goal from Cazorla at the finish. 2-1 Utd. Dull enough game.

United concede a goal with the last kick of the game. 2.1 didnt reflect how much United dominated Arsenal today.

I didn’t even have to check the score . Shans customary post match text, if Utd win.
Arsenal will comfortably finish above Manchester United in EPL this year and I am looking forward to the fixture between the two on November 3rd immensely.

Arsenal’s midfield and attacking options are vastly superior and Steve Bould’s input on the defensive side of things seems to have made a huge difference in the first three games. Sunday’s defensive display impressed me considering three of the first choice back five were missing (Sagna, Koscielny and Szczensy).

United are leaking goals and relying on Van Persie to stay fit.
Nine points behind after 10 games  :pint:

David Silva is a nothing footballer.

Looking at Van Persie’s goal on the news there really brought it home what the English domestic game has been reduced to after 20 years of Sky/EPL. A club of the stature and tradition of Arsenal who still perenially finish fourth are now nothing but a feeder club for the big boys. Ashley Cole to Chelsea, Samir Nasri & Emmanuel Adebayor to Man City and now Robert Van Persie to Man U.

Its quint to think now that it wasn’t that long before the advent of the EPL that provincial clubs like Notts Forest, Derby County or Leeds United were domestic champions. Now even big city clubs of the stature of Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton & Aston Villa are also rans.

A damning reflection on the EPL that a club with no midfield are top of the table.

Why did rednapp leave spurs?

Coleman was shocking for Fulham’s late equaliser. Awful way to give the ball away in a critical area and then completely asleep at the back post.

Not good.

So much for intricate passing

Terrific take from the best player in the EPL.

Fantastic goal.

By far the best.
