get the feeling watching liverpool that a good few of the players arent buying into david brentâs philosophy. gerrard needs to be at least 20 yards further up the pitch. allen seems inhibited playing next to him, just rolling the ball passively in gerrardâs direction routinely. at least if gerrard was up near suarez it would force allen to start looking forward when he gets the ball.
spurs dont seem to have improved under avb. they won fair enough but dempsey was taken off yet again and their full backs look poor.
