I think being allowed to pick a new team every week would make Fantasy Football vastly more interesting and allow for a lot more strategy to come into play
Think I’ll use the free hit this week. Load the team up with players with handy home fixtures for the week to avoid a points drop because of the Chelsea v Liverpool game.
Free hit can be very useful later in the season during FA Cup weeks

When did you start playing FPL? The wildcard has been in it since I started 15 years ago.
I’m bitter because I was good at FPL from 05-07 and trousered a few quid every year from our work league, half of whom were Doris from accounts types who didn’t know what they are doing. I think the wildcard might have come in around 07. And it was one per year initially. Now with two, most people wildcard in weeks 2-4 and you end up with nearly everyone having the same team and the eventual winner is more random.

Can’t believe Bowen is the least popular player. People probably swapping him for Greenwood
