Equality

You are afraid to say you’d like to vote no, you are a man of little or no substance.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you vote no on the day though, wasters like you get a thrill from the likes of that. You’ll prob draw two penises touching each other and spoil your vote.
All we are doing is extending marriage to a minority -

The biggest enemy to marriage is divorce, why aren’t you no cunts out looking to over-turn that? This place stinks of homophobia.
I’m sick of your bullying for a yes vote. I’m voting no.

Sydney, I believe, is a decent man and will do the correct thing and vote NO.

Brendan Courtney, David Norris and Donal Og can proceed without the support of Sydney.

Don’t think so, mate. I have strong opinions held for good reasons and I stick to them. If that’s the kind of post you’re reduced to I’ll take that as an admission of defeat on your part.

What are your good reasons, you seem passionate about it alright and have invested a lot of time on here

To put it in a bullet point, because people deserve to be treated equally and with dignity and respect regardless of their sexual orientation.

I posted a lengthier piece earlier on the thread as to why I’m voting yes but I’m fucked if I’m digging it up.

But they can get married already …how long before one of them is suing a priest or the curch fir breaking the law and refusing them a church service …because that is where equality leads to !!!

You are confused badly here.

This is not about equality. There is no referendum on equality.

Regardless of the result of the referendum, the following morning, there will be still huge inequality.

The referendum is about redefining marriage and the family. If this was to be passed, it would have horrific impact on society.

I’m not confused at all. You clearly are though.

It is. It’s called the “Marriage Equality Referendum”.

Yes, and you can never eliminate inequality, but this is about addressing inequality on this issue, and with a Yes vote, we’ll have a little less inequality overall than before.

It isn’t and it won’t, and this issue has been addressed comprehensively. You have nothing here except the language of fear.

@Sidney schooling the fuck out of all and sundry here

He might be, once he figures out what the referendum is about

:D:D:D:clap:

What about the lovely woman who wants to join my wife and I as an equal in our union, does Anya deserve to be treated equally, and with dignity and respect? Is Anya less equal than Colm O Gorman?

Yeah, Anya is a brazzer.

She is not. She is a secondary school teacher.

Marriage is not defined in the constitution. This referendum is not needed. Legislating through the constitution is intellectually and legally flawed and leads to unintended consequences.

You want to marry her, yes?

Yes Sidney. I do. I’d like to add her to my marriage and the two girls want this dearly too.
I have 3 kids with my wife and Anya has one on the way in August.
Why can’t we have what everyone seems to be demanding that Colm O Gorman ie a marriage based on love, respect etc etc etc

What subject does she teach?
