I’d agree with that. Belgium lack unity with frauds like Hazard and Lukaku in the squad. Kompany would have been the best player to help them gel. Him being out is a bonus for Ireland. Also on the playing side this means Toby will have to go CB which is a strong paring but weakens the full nacks considerably.
It should strengthen them, they should play actual full backs in the full back positions.
