continuing the EPL there , their main man up front is Graziano Pelle, now himself and Shane Long with Dusan Tadic are a fantastic combination up front for Soton but with the way we play , long punts over the top our man is a lot more effective with us then Pelle is in the Italian side, Pelle is nothing without Long also who is in the form of his fucking life

Belgium flatter to deceive, were pretty miserable in Brazil in 2014 and i watched them a few times v Israel and Wales and whilst they have a decent side on paper no reason why we cant do what we did to Germany home and away and get something
Sweden are a horrible team, again ure looking on paper i assume, but watch them play, workmanlike, industrious, very hard to break down, very very similar to us in many regards, our game versus them will mimmick our qualifiers vs scotand, itll be similar to a league one game, i dont think we’ll come out on the right side of it
We (Italy) are an absolute rabble, Verratti was the key for us, a lot of key players are seriously struggling with injuries, Conte opting for journeyman attacks rather than the promising youngsters available to him.
I’m expecting a disaster, good decision by Conte to get a high profile job before the impending disaster this summer.

McClean is a waste of time starting in tight games. His touch and passing aren’t good enough when under any sort of pressure. Good bench option though

Liam Sheedy won’t be the next manager of Italy. He’ll probably be on the committee to appoint the next manager though.

There are plenty of options.
I would like Capello, think Italian players would respond far better to his management methods.
Ventura and Di Francesco are two managers who have done really good work with their clubs, Donadoni is another one who I wouldn’t mind, it would be a second stint for him though after he was harshly sacked after being the only manager who came close to taking the Spanish out in 2008.
Our only hope this summer is if we persist with a back three and hope the likes of Chiellini, Barzagli and Bonucci maintain their fitness.
Italy are definitely beatable, no real striker and a couple of key players out now. Still more talented than us, but they’ll find it hard to break us down and we could definitely grab a goal if we are clinical.
We really do have to beat Sweden, they’re no great shakes, but it is a bit of pressure to actually have to go out and beat someone. We did against Bosnia, we went and had a go and got the reward. I don’t think Sweden are much better than Bosnia so hopefully we approach it with the same attitude.
Belgium are obviously the best team in the group but they flattered to deceive in the World Cup. Relying on one-goal wins. Although De Bruyne has been in great form this year…
