Would be gas if Ireland, NI, England and Wales all qualify and avoid the tough half of the knockout.
What a tournament its been for the Home Nations, Wales, Northern Ireland and England all through to the knock out stages. Wales and Northern Ireland have been tremendous so far. England, less so, but you suspect they’ve got a lot in reserve.
Eire have been a disgrace so far.

If we win, and Hungary & Iceland also win tomorrow, then we play Croatia. An Irish win, and any other combo of results, and we play France.

this was the only game ( aside from us v sweden and NI v Ukraine that was epic in fairness) that really got me excited about the thing…
That was a really great game of football, the Turkish midfield look very good, i really hope they progress , we need nutcases like them and Croatia in this to make it bearable

Chances are though that Portugal will either win the group or finish 3rd or worst. Am I correct in saying, only scenario that sees Portugal finishing second is if both Portugal and Iceland win tomorrow night but Iceland finish ahead of Portugal on goal difference.
