Better than who? Pogba is, yes. Matuidi is not as good as any of the players I named. I wasnât counting Martial and Payet as they play further forward but even so they arenât much better than anyone I named. Kante canât pass the ball, which is fine in a counter attacking team in the EPL but not in the big time

They are at home mate, it is a plus. And they finally have a coach who takes no shit and is all about the team. Hosts have often started poorly. If they get some momentum theyll make the semis and anything can happen then. They were blessed in a couple of games in 98 but if the win a few games and the crowd (fickle cunts) get behind them, you never know. Remember who they had striker in 98 ffs!
