I’m not one bit disappointed by the performance all things considered. We played an awful lot of good stuff against a talented side. The high of the last day and the short recovery and change of training camp are all little things that made this a huge task.
Coman coming on allowed the French to stretch the game wider and Ireland were too naive in dealing with this, staying too deep, going too narrow and it was just wave after wave of French attack as we had no real outball.
