McCarthy had a very effective game for Ireland tonight. Might have missed it but don’t think Dunphy gave him any credit, too busy creaming himself over McClean and Wes (“I told you so”, “real footballers”, “ball playing tradition” ect).
Some of his comments at the weekend were ott towards McCarthy and frankly pathetic on a television platform. To not give him any tonight is classless.
