Ireland also changed up four of their players tbf.
Obviously it had an impact on their psychology but you can only play what’s in front of you. Ireland were by far the better team. They have a wealth of playing stocks to pick from. Ireland might be a technically deficient team but they have great heart and most importantly got the result.

ireland changed to win, italy changed to rest. It was a good performance and obviously from as low a traditional base it was a great win, but if italy had to win that game it would have been a different story. sunday is a great chance to make an impact though. And you’re right they have showed a lot of heart and genuine desire to win, more than the shoes off gobshites in the crowd who are there for the social media opportunities.
