Euro 2016 - Ireland v Italy

We’ll do it @caoimhaoin.

I have never feared the Brits, ever - with McClean on our side…

He’s quite nippy for a man of 6’4

I’m not messing, I’m still shaking after watching that. Everyone thinks I’m mental over here today, I’m smiling at people, I have an air of joy over me that people are really relating to. People are probably saying “That lad has a great way about him”. The lift something like that can give you.

I came in swinging my dick around the office this morning, and I haven’t put it away since.

That’s a very weird and inaccurate post

Agreed.

Having said that, I doubt @maroonandwhite lives in an igloo.

Your considered analysis is that the players showed more desire than the fans. Profound stuff, mate.

considered analysis? when did I ever claim to give that. I half watched the game out of the corner of my eye and from that noticed a good amount of desire from the irish team, notwithstanding a total lack of desire to be there from the italians. Seemed to be a lot better than the lethargic effort mixed with zero ability that ireland showed in euro 2012. your considered analysis is they all played super, not one mention about the opposition. profound cheerleading mate.

What i meant by the fans was the players seemed to be giving their all, the fans in the main are just there for the piss up, great when they win, great sing song when they don’t

  • buying his wife
  • supposedly having a family (he does have a family)
  • 18 hours a day posting here (he spends less time on here than you do)
  • licking HBV’s hole (he detests this poster)
  • putting up pictures of his dogs (that happened once)

He has you wound up to within an inch of your e-life without even trying

Wrong on every point you try hard. He follows me around the board replying to me, i completely ignore him, the rest of your rebuttals are pure speculation so not worthy of comment. Keep the hooked nose out of things that don’t in any way concern you.

I’m the try hard?

Do you think the fans should be contributing more on the pitch?

Is he your friend? (probably as you claim to know all about him) Why are you on defending him so? What concern is it of yours?

No. Do you think ireland carved apart the best the italians had to offer? Will the knives be out for conte this morning?

The 7.15 from the Peninsula to Dublin has a very healthy stench of booze. Good times.

Delighted for McCarthy after the stick he’s taken. It’s unfortunate but him and Whelan can’t seem to play together. McCarthy and Hendricks was a decent centre midfield last night.
A bit worried about Coleman. I thought he was our worst player last night. Poor control and lost the ball a lot.

Didn’t think Coleman was too bad really. He looked a man under pressure before kick off with the burden of captaincy. He was ok overall, not great but not terrible. One of the few players we have who is an automatic starter.

Fair play to MON. Thought he had lost it with the team he selected but he got it spot on. Murphy gave us a focal point that we’ve lacked all tournament. Ok the Italians weren’t really going for it but we still played some great stuff. Plenty of energy and industry. Thought it was gone after the Hoolohan chance but they kept going.

McClean has to be a starter from now on. A pure fighter.

That goal is another chunk of the Lansdowne Road debt cleared now. €1m for winning each group game and getting into the last 16 must be worth another couple of million.

Is yer wan snapping her straps at ya?
