Hungary take the lead in Budapest. Looking good now to end a run of 14 straight tournaments without qualifying. For a traditional power of the game who qualified for 9 of the 13 World Cup’s up to Mexico 1986, finishing runners up twice, they really took it very hard and fell off a cliff after getting edged out for qualification for the 1990 World Cup by a minnow of the international game.

Ah he was very decent all night, made a couple of very assured saves after that goal as well. Between him and Speroni Palace had two eccentric, but seemingly thoroughly alright sort keepers for years.

Looks a reasonably safe assumption that Ukraine are home and hosed against Slovenia. Seedings are more or less sorted but will be some changes depending on whether Sweden or Denmark advance.
