Intetesting thoughts there lads.My experience of the German and Polish relationship is a positive one. During my time there, I got the impression that they saw Poland as an extension of the old East Germany and welcomed them with open arms. However as time went on there seemed to be a little more hostility as reluctance to learn the lingo, clannish behaviour and the impression of laziness took hold. Go down to Bavaria and right wing politics and hostility towards them is a lot more prevelant. Then again the Bavarians would barely regard themselves as Germans
