Both Phillips & Rice are good players; it’s when they play together, they can look more ordinary. If one of them was playing alongside Kroos, for example, they’d probably look very good.

Like playing wing-forward in Gaelic football and you roam out the field a bit to get some nice handy possessions and give the impression that you’re playing well.
