Euro 2020 thread (Part 1)

Had a knee op I think but Burnley were saying he’d still be available.

in the last minute and a half?

Tom Heaton should be in the squad
a proper goalkeeper

Wil the forum be cheering England or the Scotch ???

Would you say Carlo Ancelotti knows a good player when he sees one?

the EPL fans usually like referencing the amount of “their” players in “the” squad

you just picked “your” X1 Mickee boy

McFootix will have a similar take

i did and ill probably do it for all the squads if i have time

He picks Michael Keane doesn’t he?

“I don’t know if he goes to the Euros, it’s not my problem or my decision. All I have to say is that Ben Godfrey was a fantastic player this season.
“He has no problem, he showed a fantastic quality and defensive ability. He’s really fast, really intelligent, it’s difficult to find him out of position.
“I’m really pleased and really surprised for his season.”

He’s stuck with Keane - I don’t think you’d find him saying that about Michael Keane

Because he plays for Everton he won’t be a good player is it?

I’ve seen him play.

He’s shit.

righte-o

I was worried with the obvious attacking options they possess.

I’m very happy to see such weak options at the back

Come in Paddy Bamford, your time is done.

I personally don’t really see the point in naming a 33-man squad. Even taking into account possible injuries, just seems excessive.

I like Godfrey but there’s no way that Mings is better than Tarkowski either. At least Keane isn’t there.

Johnstone & Ramsdale are very very average too.

Mings is an average EPL player — He’s not international standard.

Injury doubts over Maguire and Henderson as well. Also there’s 10 or 11 players tied up with city, Chelsea and man united if they were having some training today or tomorrow they’d be light enough on numbers.
