I’d say they’ll see the difficulties Spain caused Italy by not having a traditional centre forward standing up beside Chiellini and Bonucci. And I think Kane has played better in games when he’s dropped deep and linked up too, that was certainly the case against Denmark. I reckon they’ll be looking for Kane to draw Chiellini out and leave space for Sterling to go in behind on diagonal runs from a wider starting position.

Yeah - Even if Kane played at 9 he’d be a false 9 tonight so he’ll drop deep. He’d get chewed up in a direct battle anyway. That’s why I think it’s utterly stupid picking Mount, but Southgate has made a mug out of me all tournament.
