Euro 2020 thread (Part 1)

If he is still alive they might restart it at that time.

Does the game get declared a draw ?

I doubt either side would be keen to play on.

I’m very happy I didn’t see this. A good friend of mine collapsed and died during a game of five a side a few years back. We were in the same position as the lads on the field looking on in shock. It can happen to even the youngest fittest lads

The best case scenario is the game gets declared a draw. I think the one tonight might be too. If it’s the worst case scenario I can’t see how the Danes don’t pull out of the tournament. Hopefully , hopefully it does not come to that.

Not today.

RTE ending their coverage.

It will not affect other games not involving Denmark

If he’s ok it might give the Danes a pep to go on. If he’s not, I don’t think they’d be able to finish the tournament.

I’m not sure how good other teams would feel about it either

It’s a good reminder for lads involved with teams to learn first aid/CPR.

He’ll have had immediate access to best medical care he could have had so hopefully he pulls through.

It’s a shocking and sickening thing to see.

Yeah that’s what I keep saying to myself. He has the best opportunity to make it.

Glad I didn’t see this
Hopefully he’ll pull through

Kasper reminded me of his dad the time of David Bussts horrific injury at OT many years ago.

Kicker are reporting that the doctors gave a thumbs up.

This is just completely illogical. Is he even 30 and in the prime of his life and health. What the absolute fuck like

The initiative to have defibrillators at every pitch is one of the most worthwhile things ever done in sport. I remember Kevin McCloy ex-Derry collapsed some years back and was saved by one.

Best not to think about it too much. Anyone can go at anytime
