The GAA need to provide this to every club in Ireland
Eriksen probably at an age now that if he comes out of this he will be just grateful to have his life and pack the football in and who could blame him.
Would be amazing if he makes it. Really did not look good there. There’s no good time for something like that to happen but if there is one it’s when you’re surrounded by medics.
Most reports from the Twitter machine, including those from reputable sources, indicate that Eriksen is alive and has left the stadium stable and breathing.
I’d be surprised if every club doesn’t have them.
Hopefully. Would be amazing, did not look good.
That picture is genuine anyway. It’s on Getty Images
Think pretty much all clubs do nowadays; there was a huge initiative to get them a few years back.
You get the odd case where absolute cunts sabotage/vandalise them.
Thank fuck for that.
Fair fucks to those medics getting him back.

I’d say the issue is having lads trained to use them when an incident occurs.
I was sure he was dead when Kjaer and Schmeicel spoke to the wife.
He was. They revived him
Sky sports reporting that he’s been stabilised
The initiative to have defibrillators at every pitch is one of the most worthwhile things ever done in sport. I remember Kevin McCloy ex-Derry collapsed some years back and was saved by one.
In my friend’s case in DCU, it was the medic’s first day on the defibrillator and he did everything he could but the lad had a congenital heart issue and nothing could be done.
That’s just shocking news. Just hearing it now. One of my all time favourite Spurs players. Please God he pulls through.
Just heard from a lad who’d know, he said the GAA have provided to the clubs. I am reassured now
He’s the only player I ever saw score a hattrick at an Ireland match
Credit the medics in fairness they did a great job.
I was initally critical of them as I thought they were slow getting across to him.
Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery.
