Kenny is talking some bollocks here and I salute him for it.
In fairness the Swedes and Danes contrived a 2-2 draw to eliminate the Italians under the 16 team system in 2004.
Should they go to 32 teams or back to 16?
There’s no format with more than 1 team to progress from a group that is impossible to eliminate that completely.
Maybe a bit more prevalent in this format, just because more teams progress.
Far more open to manipulation when teams are waiting around for a couple of days to see what way results go.
Even for supporters trying to follow their country it must be shit.
Have a format where you know where you stand post game.
