I would think personally not having the winning numbers is better than having them. A €200m curse
Only a weak man could not handle 200m.
Mike tyson blew through 200m in no time at all . It would get me a good ten years. I’d go back to work and get the pension .
You’d miss the forklift
200mill would pay for a lot of 9euro meals
I’d need it for all the pallets of money I’d have to shift.
all in for the old new year eve millionaire raffle on NYE ?
1 in 87 chance of a prize I think
I buy a lash of them, my crimbo present to a few
Prize money has gotten less every year and the price of a ticket gone up from €20 to €25
True but sure handy crimbo gifts for a few
I won €500 last year
That’ll be handy for the TFK Secret Santa.
My auld one won 2k on a scratch card once. She thought she needed 3× the same amount to win so because there were 4×1k she thought it was no good. Handed it over fo me to have a look, all defeated asking ‘is this any good’. ‘No good’ says I.
I won 10k in a draw I didn’t even know I was in a few months before Rascal was born.
It wasn’t won I see. It’ll be going straight back down without the plus €2.50. Might as well go the distance now with it.
You’re just buying the day dream of what if. Worth it all the same
37 Irish people won €132 and that’s it
Some scam
Always buy a few hampers and roses tickets in their first week at Christmas. They lash out the prizes in the first run to keep you buying. I won something on 4 out of 6 cards this week although it was €3, €3, €10 and box of chocolates
Did you actually appreciate it at the time. I’d be jumping through hoops. Or did you get anything worthwhile?
Tommy Tiernan described on his podcast there recently Winning 10k in poker, He bought a motorbike for 8k & he’d never drove one before. He realised he was never gonna get a lump sum like that again & just got something extravagant for the craic.
Lucky bastards.
I heard that podcast actually. I appreciated it alright. We weren’t long after buying a house and little babba on the way. There were plenty of holes for it to fall in to.
Yeah fair enough, a nice bit of coin to plug a few holes
We go again.
