Yeah they’re a good enough team and well drilled in their style. It’s not that different to what Ange is looking to adopt with Celtic. But they’ve sold 3 or 4 of their key players since the group stages and the Norwegian season ended in December. They’ve replaced a couple of them and promoted from within. Celtic’s below par display last week effectively decided the tie.

We had done better in this half but we just stood back and watched that goal. He’s a lovely player but we just admired him there.
Thought Scales was poor on the shot too. Just watched it and made no effort to get back inside the post. But yeah Bitton is exposed by a clever player like that with movement.
I don’t think I’d put it down to sharpness. Scales again there. He’s just slow and one paced. He’s probably a reserve left sided centre back but he doesn’t fit the type of full back for the Celtic system. He’s not a good passer and he’s not fast so he can’t dart inside and get back out etc. I’m now making a definitive judgement on him.

Comprehensively beaten over these 2 legs. Looks likes Forrest’s best days are behind him and not sure Scales is the future at left back.

I think that McCarthy for Giakoumakis sub is as close to a concession as you’ll get. Get out of here and back to Glasgow to fuck. I’ll grudgingly allow Ange a European exit with a whimper this season, but something like this next season would be a disgrace.

That scales lad looks fairly mediocre tonight,
He needs to take a touch to control it every time. It’s all very slow. Any opportunity to play the ball forward first time is ignored. Just don’t think he’s talented enough on the ball. Like a lesser version of Ralston without the same strength.
